The Black Truffle Salt

Black truffle is actually the outer fruiting body of underground ascomycete fungi, mostly one of the genus of the same species as Tuber. Besides Tuber, several other species of Ascomycetes are also included in this genus, including Geopora, Peziza, Choiromyces, and several others. A fungus is a single-celled organism that causes a living thing to grow and reproduce by secreting a variety of reproductive cells. The cells of these fungi are called somatic cells. The cells of the fungi in the form of black truffle salt are present in all fungi and may be called a "somatic cell" because they are responsible for the growth of the fungi.

The fungi grow by using photosynthesis to create food for themselves from the energy given off by the food they consume. The cells of fungal spores are so large that they take up nearly all of the space in the dark. Because of their great size, they are nearly impossible to see with the naked eye. Even though fungi of all different types grow in varying amounts, there are a few species that produce black spores that are very visible. The fungus which produces black "truffle-truffles" is called Trichophyton rubrum and it is commonly found growing in North America, in soil that has been recently added to the soil.

Most species of Tuber are considered to be harmless. However, when certain species are over-invaded by fungi of various types, the result can be a fungal infection. When there is an overgrowth of the Ascomycetes in the environment, they can form into a mass of small black patches. These patches then start to appear on the outside of the foot. Because the fungi involved in this fungal invasion are naturally present in the soil, the black truffle salt reacts to the growth and spreads in an infection when it comes in contact with the fungi on the surface of the soil.

There are many theories on exactly how this natural interaction of black truffle salt and fungi came about. Some folks think that the salt reacts to the black color of fungi because it contains a high amount of melanin. Melanin is what gives black skin. In fact, the name "black-skinned" comes from the fact that the fungi that infect the black-skinned varieties tend to produce a black coloration on their surfaces.

Some folks believe that black mold invasions of some kind cause fungal infections. This has not been proven, but many people suspect it as a factor. One thing is clear though: the presence of black mold in the home is not always a sign that you have a fungal infection. In fact, many cases involve black mold growing where there is none, such as in the bathroom or the attic.

Another theory on why black truffle salt is effective against fungi involves the way the elements in the stonework to limit the growth of fungi. It has long been known that salt limits the growth of many types of fungi. Most notably, fungi cannot grow where there is little air or nutrients available. Because of this, fungi are not particularly interested in decaying organic matter. Fungi that do not have these limiting factors surrounding them are attracted to the truffles.

Many experts agree that black truffle salt is an excellent treatment for black mold or mildew. The inclusion of black truffle salt in the household environment has been known to kill spores and prevent the spread of mold spores. It can also prevent moisture from building up in interior spaces, preventing the growth of black mold. In fact, it has been recommended that black truffle salt be placed inside the freezer prior to use in order to kill any spores that may be there.

As with any home cure or remedy, it is important to check with a doctor before using black truffle salt. Individuals with respiratory issues or allergies should especially be cautious. Still, black truffle salt has proven itself as a useful remedy for a number of ailments over the years, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a place in your medicine cabinet to put some of it in. Whether you need a natural alternative to bleach your veggies or are just looking for a way to limit the growth of black mold in your house, black truffle salt may be just the thing to boost your immune system.
